Biometric Vox closes seed round led by Innocells (Banco Sabadell)

20 FEB 18.- Original Press Release.

It is a real pleasure for us to start this publication announcing that we have just closed a funding round to fuel our international expansion. The round, led by InnoCells, Banco Sabadell’s hub of new digital business, raised a total of 1 million euros in seed capital from different investors.

Biometric Vox is a Spanish startup working on speech technologies, with a special focus on voice biometrics. In the last years, the preferred interface to interact with intelligent devices has moved from keyboards to touchscreens and from touchscreens to voice. We expect this last trend to continue over the next years as the voice becomes the primary means to perform any task, be it logging into your bank account or asking your smart speaker to play your favorite playlist. It is only natural, since it is indeed our preferred way to interact with each other. This, however, will require to move from current static monolithic solutions to highly flexible organic solutions. This is our aim at Biometric Vox.

We are really excited with this new stage we now begin. 2018 has been great so far and we have a couple more announcements to make in the next few days. We’ve been having a terrific time so far and we expect to have even more fun in the future. Follow along to stay up to date![/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container][fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=»no» equal_height_columns=»no» hide_on_mobile=»small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility» background_position=»center center» background_repeat=»no-repeat» fade=»no» background_parallax=»none» parallax_speed=»0.3″ video_aspect_ratio=»16:9″ video_loop=»yes» video_mute=»yes» overlay_opacity=»0.5″ border_style=»solid»][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=»1_1″ layout=»1_1″ spacing=»yes» center_content=»no» hover_type=»none» link=»» min_height=»» hide_on_mobile=»small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility» class=»» id=»» background_color=»rgba(10,10,10,0.97)» background_image=»» background_position=»left top» undefined=»» background_repeat=»no-repeat» border_size=»» border_color=»» border_style=»solid» border_position=»all» padding=»» margin_top=»0px» margin_bottom=»0px» animation_type=»» animation_direction=»left» animation_speed=»0.3″ animation_offset=»» last=»no»][fusion_text]
